I’ve decided to start a blog again, after a long break.
In this era of short videos and fast-scrolling social media, I know not many people will stop by here.
That’s why I think of this blog as something for my core audience.
A kind of secret base.
A place where I can connect more deeply.
Where I can share behind-the-scenes stories—just a sprinkle, within the limits of what I can talk about.
Something special only for those who find their way here.
I also hope this becomes a place where I can meet new fans I haven’t yet
encountered.
Some of you may already know,
my solo exhibition just came to a close.

Venue: Beinart Gallery
Dates: July 19 – August 10, 2025
Tokyo Jesus Solo Exhibition
Preparing for this exhibition kept me from holding any art toy sales for almost a year.
(Next time, I’ll do my best not to let that happen!)

This exhibition mainly featured my doll sculptures.

So if you were hoping for my art toys,
perhaps it felt a little lonely this time.
Right after the show,
I was all fired up, ready to restart sales immediately.
But then the new U.S. reciprocal tariff issue erupted.
Now, not only shipments from Japan
but global international logistics are in turmoil.
Some reports suggest that the extra tariffs may be withdrawn in the near future.
but nothing has been officially confirmed.
For now, all we can do is wait and see until things calm down a bit with international shipping.
Which means…
our usual online pre-order for New Art-Toys will be postponed because of . (sigh)
But.I plan to use this time to try new things—
new social media platforms,
this blog, and
also projects and works I haven’t attempted before.
Of course, I also want to keep researching a new series of art toys.
There’s so much I’d like to talk about,
but before this gets too long, I’ll stop here for today.
As always, thank you.

This short break will generate new ideas for sure!
