It’s hard to believe that it’s only been two months since my solo exhibition at Beinart Gallery.
It feels both fast and slow at the same time—these days have been so intense that my sense of time is completely distorted.
Actually, right now I’m not only working on sofubi and my Tokyo Jesus projects, but I’ve also started something new.
The name of this new project is Ghost Dust Cabinet. -------

Before I knew it, I had come this far thanks to the support and encouragement of so many people around me. I started to wonder if there was something I could give back. That’s when this idea came to me.
To collectors around the world —we create and distribute independently produced, small-edition art books and indie art magazines.
We also make and deliver art prints, art toys, and replica sculptures. In the future, we hope to expand into events, galleries, and shops.
Ghost Dust Cabinet is a project where artists come together to create and share every kind of art with care and passion.
A few projects are already in progress:
Tokyo Jesus art books
Statue & Art Toys reproductions for several artists
An independent small press art magazine introducing artists, galleries, and culture from Japan and around the world
We plan to create these works ourselves, sell them online and at events, and also work with galleries and shops that would like to carry them.
That’s the direction we’re heading now.
------ Meanwhile, as Tokyo Jesus, there’s still so much to do.
To be honest, balancing everything is quite tough.
Sometimes I worry—“What if starting something new causes fans, collectors, or supporters of Tokyo Jesus to drift away?”or “What if I say all this, and things don’t go well?”
Yes, it’s scary. I’m nervous. Everything is still trial and error—but I’m moving forward with courage.
As an experiment before creating our first small press magazine, I made a prototype art book of my own works. The test copy has just arrived.

It only has a few pages for now, but I’m aiming for about 100 pages in the final version.
I’d like the art magazine to be around the same length too.
---------
Everything I’m working on now—everything I’m dreaming about—requires a lot of passion, time, money, and help from many people.
Some projects have no clear completion date yet.
I might ask for your help with something in the future.
But for now, I have my first small favor to ask of you:
Even if I don’t know which project will come first or which one will actually come to life…
Please look forward to it.
That’s my very first request.

Thank you, as always, for your likes and comments—they truly encourage me.

I think the idea of an art book is great . I have many books of artists who's work I love and admire.
It is a great way for people to connect with art and it makes it really accessible.
These are all great news! I am looking forward to all pf the projects, spwcially the art book. I am confident that any project will be a success as you have a large group of loyal collectors and followers
